After high school Begüm spent 2 years at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles studying Cinema and Television. At the moment she's at Istanbul Bilgi University completing her Photography and Video degree.  She generally discusses the themes of sexuality, sex, beauty and power in her work, and best examines this through fashion.  The photographers she's most influenced by are Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, Jeurgen Teller, R. Mapplethorpe, Richard Avedon, Karl Lagerfeld, Heidi Slimane, Mert and Marcus and Guy Aroch. Dilek was born in Eskişehir in 1987. She has been into crafts, drawing and photography since she was a kid. Her teachers at school had a great influence on her artistic development, sending her art secretly to various competitions, some of which she even won. Dilek eventually decided to go to a Fine Art College.  Whilst juggling drawings, graphics and oil paints she started experimenting with photography and started to prefer it from anything else. Her dad played a major role in this decision, being a photographer himself.  Dilek used to steal his camera and organise photoshoots with friends and then the cafe she liked hanging out in while she was studying offered her the chance to exhibit her work. As soon as she finished High School she got into the Photography and Video department at Bilgi University with a full scholarship and in exchange for this scholarship she started teaching. This extremely tiring period of her life has been extremely constructive... While studying industrial & product design at METU, Ersoy realised he somehow wanted to design and capture fleeting moments. He specialised in visual and conceptual design, photography and cinema at the same university. He launched his filming and photography career with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's "Turkey" as an assistant director. Since then, he has been involved in the creation of several short movies, TV ads, and video art projects. Today, besides his film career, he is focused on the ever expanding field of fashion photography. Ersoy designs real and virtual images, moving and still. Here's some more inspiration for all of you out there! Karl Grandin was born in Sweden on Christmas Day 1976. After working as the art director for the influential Swedish music magazine Pop for two years he joined forces with a fellow artist in Stockholm and founded the graphic design unit Vår. Grandin studied at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam between 2004 and 2006. In 2004 he started the revolutionary clothing label Cheap Monday together with some friends and were responsible for the brand's complete graphic expression for four years.
