After high school Begüm spent 2 years at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles studying Cinema and Television. At the moment she’s at Istanbul Bilgi University completing her Photography and Video degree. She generally discusses the themes of sexuality, sex, beauty and power in her work, and best examines this through fashion. The photographers she’s most influenced by are Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, Jeurgen Teller, R. Mapplethorpe, Richard Avedon, Karl Lagerfeld, Heidi Slimane, Mert and Marcus and Guy Aroch. In the future she’d like to work mostly with male models and she’s also interested in publication design and video work (check out her website).

Begüm liseden sonra University of Southern California, Los Angeles’ta 2 sene Sinema-Televizyon eğitimi aldı. Şu an İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi, Fotoğraf ve Video bölümünden mezun oluyor. Genelde cinsellik, cinsiyet, güzellik, güç temalarını sorguluyor, ve bunu da en iyi moda ile inceleyebiliyor. Onu en etkileyen fotoğrafçılar Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, Jeurgen Teller, R. Mapplethorpe, Richard Avedon, Karl Lagerfeld, Heidi Slimane, Mert and Marcus ve Guy Aroch. İleride çoğunluklu erkek mankenler ile çalışmak istiyor, ayrıca Publication Design ve Video ile ilgileniyor (sitesine mutlaka gözatın).
