On the 29th of March the Lomographic Society International opens its first Turkish Lomography Gallery Store in Istanbul with a big opening party and brought an analogue gallery, a meeting point for Lomographers, the first and only LomoWall in Turkey and all lomographic products to the city. After Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, Seoul, London, New York and Rio, Berlin… Istanbul is the next big city in the ever-growing squad of Lomography Gallery Stores.
The newest Lomography gallery store in the world
Measuring 90 square meters this Gallery Store is the newest and only store in Turkey and provides enough space to let all lomographic wishes come true. Centrally located near the historic Galata Tower in the dynamic Beyoglu neighborhood, the Lomography Gallery Store Istanbul can be reached easily and has its finger right on the pulse of the city. As a lomographic gallery, the store offers a platform for creative analogue photography and all varieties of Lomography. Being the lomographic embassy in Istanbul, the store is a meeting point for Lomographers, the place for lomographic workshops, parties, music and exhibitions. Not to forget, the store features the only LomoWall inTurkey, consisting of more than 3500 pictures, as well as all lomographic products, ranging from the new Lomography Diana Mini to the classic Lomo LC-A+. There are workshops held on a regular basis that please beginners and pros, where experienced lomographers pass on their tricks.
3500 Times Istanbul
The first and only permanent LomoWall in Turkey, composed of more than 3500 Lomographs, is situated inside the Lomography Gallery Store Istanbul. Numerous Lomographers from all over the world have documented their personal views of Istanbul with lomographic cameras and discovered new perspectives of the city. These photos were put together by hand to create the biggest LomoWall in Turkey. In a broad range of colors the LomoWall depicts Istanbul from a whole new perspective and inspires its viewers to explore the city with an analogue camera in their hands.
Celebration never ends!
The store offers, beneath the lomographic product range, a special service for all lomographic desires and acts as a starting point for regular activities and exhibitions.
